The Mega Story in 100 Words
In 1999 Country 103.5 contracted Mega Matt to perform at 30 weddings. Throughout high school and college, he worked as a wedding MC/DJ. Every year the business grew till there were 14 part time wedding DJs out working each weekend. Services have grown to include wedding videography, AV rental, and event production. The secret sauce has always been "Interactive Family Fun" After 20 years and thousands of events, our goal is for guests to say, "That was the most fun wedding I have ever been to."
ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE
Matt and Carol are a husband-and-wife-for-life team, guiding each couple through the planning process. We believe weddings are the first of many celebrations in a marriage.

Mega Matt is a Christian DJ company based in Mankato, MN, with one goal: to get your guests to say, "That was the most fun I have ever had at a wedding reception!"Matt, Carol, and Grace are a happy family that works and plays together. They are active at their church, love to travel, spend time each day learning something new, enjoy lake time in the summer, and try to fill each day with a whole lot of Jesus and a little bit of magic.
MET AT A PARTY
Matt and Carol met at a party. Matt was the DJ, and Carol was on the planning committee. The first day they met, Matt knew he was going to marry Carol. On their first date, Carol knew if she dated “this guy,” he would become her husband. But it took a couple of years until they were willing to admit it to each other.
BE MY FOREVER
They married in 2011 and had a beautiful wedding and a “Mega Party.” Throughout the planning process for their own wedding, they realized how frustrating the planning process could be. So they decided to make weddings easier for every couple they’d get to serve by sharing all their experience, resources, and expertise anytime they could.
LITTLE PARTY GIRL
In 2014 they were blessed by God with the sweetest little girl. She plays alongside dad and mom in the business. She has her own spot in the office and will eagerly wait for papers to shoot out of the copy machine. She loves to color, sing, and take dance-party breaks in the garage. If she is around during a meeting, she’d love to greet you and make you a cup of cocoa.
